Please join us to offer our farewells to Barbara Bowler. We are very appreciative for all the hard work that Barbara has done for us over the last 2.5 years at Open Arms, and we will miss her very much. She has played an integral role at Open Arms.

Kisha Torres will be stepping into Barbara's role as Executive Director effective February 1. We are thankful that Kisha has been with us for 18 years and her love for all the Open Arms children will continue in her new role.

We wish Barbara the best of success in all future endeavors and look forward to many more years of this wonderful ministry.

We are so grateful for all Barbara has done for Open Arms! We joined under her leadership and have continued to be so thankful for everything she has done to guide our decisions on summer camp options to offering so much flexibility, not to mention leading us through the ever-changing and very challenging pandemic. (Even opening a supervised distance learning option for bigger kids!) You’ve worked so hard and cared so much for your families - you will be missed! ❤️

This is soooo bittersweet! I am going to miss Mrs. Barbara so much! Words do not express how thankful I am for your leadership at Open Arms. I had so much anxiety about sending my baby to daycare, and my first call with you set all my angst at ease. You are such a gifted leader and we will miss you! God bless you so much! Thank you for all that you have done for the kids, parents and staff!!

Our center will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022, in the interest of everyone's safety.

Please stay safe and warm.

Six years ago, we carefully chose Open Arms as our first son’s home away from home. He is now in Pre-K at the same school, and his little brother is in the pre-toddler class. We have stepped foot into that building almost every single school day for almost 6 years, and each and every time, we’re so happy with our decision. We consider the teachers and staff at Open Arms part of our extended family. They have helped us raise our two boys in a consistently safe, loving, and fun environment.

My son was around 6 months old when he began his journey with Open Arms. It was a time of personal and professional difficulty and uncertainty. But one thing that was certain was the care and love that was given to him every day he was in their care. Not for a moment did I have a concern for his well-being while at Open Arms. In short there was a stability there that both he and I needed...
